Frederikshavn, the host city of Euro Floorball Cup 2009, is situated beautifully in northern Denmark with ocean on the one side and forest on the other. Complementing the surroundings of nature, Frederikshavn offers a pleasant city environment and cosy pedestrian streets.

In the 90's Frederikshavn was struck by globalization. Through a focused policy and attention to culture, tourism, innovation and events the city now flowers again.

Regarding floorball, Frederikshavn has to local clubs, FC Outlaws and Frederikshavn Bulldogs FK, with a total of approximately 700 members.
